Clifftop Battlefield is a combat racing track used in the Kras City Grand Championship during Jak X: Combat Racing. One of the most common arena tracks in the game, it consists of a large plateau, filled with grass and bordered by tall cliffs on three sides and a sharp drop to the open sea on another. The ruins of an old stone structure stands on one of the higher mountains as well. Note that Keira's third training session at the beginning of the game takes place on this track.
The clifftop has barely any obstacles besides some easily-ran over wooden fences. It is quite hilly however, and contains a handful of underground tunnels and even a large split in the ground reaching down to sea level. The fissure cuts out around one sixth of the terrain, though it can still be reached with the use of natural ramps throughout the landscape. The hills themselves will limit your line of sight and consequently your line of fire. As such, positioning yourself on a higher area might give you more of an advantage at targeting other racers, though as a result you will more likely be targeted yourself.

A large tunnel traces throughout the southwestern to the northeastern end of the cliff, but can also be accessed midway through a slope. The tunnel will force the player to maintain a high speed as splits in the ground lead to a dangerous drop. It might be a useful escape route if the opponent is chasing in a heavier and slower vehicle, though the lack of space might prove detrimental as well.
On the other side, the area cut off from the mainland has a similar set-up, with splits in the ground carving up the area and ensuring that slow or careless drivers will tumble down to their deaths. Right after the first jump to the separate piece of land in the southeastern area is a hidden tunnel not on the map. To find the tunnel, stick to the right and drive through the waterfall and into a tunnel, which ends up back at the normal path shortly afterwards. It is both useful for escape and cutting off targets.
