Defeat marauders in arena is a mission in Jak 3. Jak had to fight in the last Arena of Death challenge to earn his complete war amulet.
Completion of this mission in the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation 4 versions of Jak 3 will unlock the bronze trophy World Wide Fight.
Walkthrough[]
You'll start with the Vulcan Fury, although it's not very practical for this mission so refrain from using it and spare the ammunition. The arena is a large wide open square with only the other rim and a plus shape in the entrance safe to be walked upon. Pick up the ammo in the center to begin the challenge to kill 30 marauders. This time. they're equipped with newer weapons that fire a shot when they do their standard leap and slash attack. The downside is the small walkways and four possible directions means it is hard to properly dictate where they are coming from.
Revert to the use of the Beam Reflexor (the Wave Concussor lacks the range here) and the old aerial wastelander maneuvers to hit all possible targets all around you. Eventually, the arena's alarm will go off, signifying the submerging of the arena into lava. Jump on either of the four large platforms that will simultaneously rise up in the corners of the arena to avoid the lava.
After killing 30 marauders, a cutscene starts that leads into the next mission: "Destroy eggs in nest".
