Ride the flut flut was a mission in The Precursor Legacy that Jak and Daxter completed to obtain a power cell. Jak had to use the flut flut to cross the tar safely in Boggy Swamp, after Keira gained permission from the Birdwatcher and had it send over to the trans-pad.

Walkthrough

One of the only two times where you get to control the flut flut, you'll find the bird deep in Boggy Swamp shortly after you break the third tether in Break the tethers to the zeppelin. Once in control of the bird, get on top of the nearby wooden platforms and from here make your way to tall ones standing over the tar-filled area. The power cell is over here on top of one of the platforms.

-You won't find the [[Flut Flut]] until you reach the area beyond where you take the Jump pad to get to the third tether you need to break. Jump on the Flut Flut with {{icon|circle}} and use to it navigate the platforms in the area until you get to the top, here you can grab a Power Cell. You can also use it to break open steel crates in the area and to get to the platform with a [[Scout Fly]]. Just remember that you can hit the {{icon|square}} button to do a beak attack (which opens the crates) and can do a glide/double jump by pressing the {{icon|x}} button when the Flut Flut is in the air.
