Mar helped building the PDS is unlikely[]

While going through the articles of this wiki, I just found this sentence: The Planetary Defense System created with the help of Mar was powerful enough to destroy the Dark Maker ship

I don't find any information confirming Mar helped with building the PDS. Instead, at the timeline, it is stated this was built during the Precursor Era. Following the reference of that bullet point (which is broken because the referenced title was appended with "(gameplay)" later on), it states that it is assumed this was indeed built right after the Catacombs by Keira.

although only one of these was constructed. Also, only one of which? This sentence is in this article for a while now. Is the refering being made to the ship, or the defense system? Maybe it's just not clear to me because I'm not a native speaker.

So I feel this is contradicting and should be removed. Or, the game developers were contradicting, but the source of this information should be referenced then. I could make the edit silently, but perhaps the author from Revision as of 22:44, 7 January 2021 has an exclusive art book or something. SageYodah (talk) 12:45, 12 September 2021 (UTC)

Good catch, turns out that sentence was added by a random user mixed in with a larger batch, guess everyone overlooked it. The sentence refers to the PDS although I agree it's a bit unclear. I'll leave it to you to fix the page? Tim H (talk) 20:43, 14 September 2021 (UTC)
Well, I wanted to write that the PDS is presumably one of the oldest weapons in the game, but it might get refactored as a fact over time, so I ended up copying from the main article. As of second thought when writing this, I replaced "oldest" with "older", but you should check it out anyway to see if it's conform with the editing rules, which I honestly haven't gone through for now as I'm not planning to go editing what is already decent. I know this is a very complete, strict wiki and I just wouldn't want to downgrade it with my English ;-)
Also, it would be nice if I could reference the script sections directly like is being done in the timeline article. Well, see the source ey? I looked at it, but I'm not sure what's happening there. The html ref tags don't seem to be standard mediawiki code and I don't find any documentation about it nor its source in first place. I first was like: "Is it the Template or the Module Reference? (Also, what is a module?)" Then I finally stumbled on the Lua help page and understood that both use the curly bracket syntax. So what is this html-ish syntax? How does it work? If I knew that, and it wouldn't be making it harder for new editors, I could use this syntax when editing. I'd guess you used your custom js-script to find these non-standard tags and render the pop-up html, as js would be needed for the interaction, right?
Nevermind, I think I understand how to use it, the question remains: would it be a good idea to heavily reference the script for statements? It would to me, becuase if facts are doubted, the source can quickly be verified, but I haven't edited wiki's in a long time, so I'm not a reliable source to say if such editing is bareable. Pretty sure that question is answered in the intro here; J&D:VERIFY. Tim H (talk) 09:59, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
