The Precursor Legacy missions contains a sequential flowchart of missions in The Precursor Legacy. Such missions are tasks either assigned to Jak (the player) by NPCs, or occur as a matter of incidence while exploring the game's locations.
All missions (with the exception of the final boss) result in the acquisition of a power cell, the standard collectible allowing progression through the game. As such, progress is tracked on the start menu via power cell icons. These icons will either be grayed out if the mission has not yet been assigned or unlocked, empty circles if the mission has been assigned but not completed, and fully animated power cells if the mission has been completed.
There are 101 total power cells to collect in the game. The last one is required only to unlock a secret ending.
Associated trophies[]
Collecting power cells (ergo completing missions) in the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation 4 versions of The Precursor Legacy is related to the trophies Power Lunch, Power Chords, and Maximum Power! Collecting 25, 50, and 101 power cells unlocks a bronze, silver, and gold trophy, respectively. These power cells can be earned from any mission and in any order.
